Honor + Intrigue Errata Collection

There's a thread at Big Purple for reporting errata for Honor + Intrigue before the text goes out for the print version. Errata and other comments are requested by Friday, 2 March.

Anyone played this yet? Purchasing Te Deum pour un massacre last month blew my discretionary income budget, but I do want to pick up the .pdf at some point, despite the price. H+I is quite a bit more than I'm usually willing to spend on a .pdf - if it wasn't a cape-and-sword game, I wouldn't even give it another look - but at least it's not as ridiculous as the price point for All for One: Régime Diabolique.

Yeah, I can be rather frugal a cheap spiv when it comes to games.

  1. Haven't played it yet--trying to figure out how to set up a campaign for a group of 10-12 year olds. Sandbox is not going to work for them. But I have enjoyed my read-through greatly.

  2. H+I uses the Barbarians of Lemuria game system? Does it have more an emphasis on 'storygame' play than tactical, mechanical gameplay?

The cover art is quite nice.

    1. Yeah, it's based on BoL but unfortunately I know nothing about BoL other than some people speak very highly of it.

The cover art strikes me as off. The game is set in the middle-17th century, but the clothing styles look more like the early 18th century. It's a nitpick, to be sure.
