5.52 Entering the Bureaucracy

A bureaucrat (greffier) primarily handles routine paperwork, maintaining ledgers, drafting correspondence, and filing and retrieving records on behalf of the royal bureaucracy. A bureaucrat may also on occasion represent a Minor Official or Official of the Realm in meetings, on inspections, and so forth
