5.35 Personal Results of Campaign

If a character is decorated twice (i.e., in two separate Campaigns), the character is commissioned as a ensign or cornet (if not an officer) or knighted (if already an officer). A character who earns a commission as an officer after receiving two decorations must receive only one additional decoration to be knighted. Characters knighted become members of the Order of Our Lady of Carmel and Saint Lazarus. Additional decorations may raise a knight to higher levels of the nobility.
