2.3 NEW SKILLS

As Seamanship does not have a base attribute, a character must earn three checkmarks for Mastery and and seven more checkmarks for Superior Mastery of the Seamanship skill in accordance with section 6.1 Skills in the core rules (pp. 39-40). For purposes of skill checks, most Seamanship checks will be against Dexterity or Wit, at the Gamemaster's discretion.
