Thirty Musketeers

Yesterday Tim Knight at HeroPress posted pictures of parties of fantasy adventurers as seen in different movies and televisions shows.

That got me thinking about some of the many different film versions of The Three Musketeers . . .

    I really do like the look of the quartet in 1998's The Man In The Iron Mask especially after that final charge.

    Looking forward to the Osprey book. :D

      Funny little detail I noticed: all of the d'Artagnans except one are wearing cavalry boots. Michael York's d'Artagnan is wearing a pair of clogs, befitting a country bumpkin newly arrived in Paris.

      Yet another reason why Richard Lester's movies are my favorites.
