Speaking of Prince Valiant, there is a series of beautiful reprints starting from the first installment available now. Huge, oversized books to accommodate those large Sunday pages of yesteryear. I am buying all of them to read to my little boy. And there was a Prince Valuant RPG which is both great (by Greg Stafford) and useful to introduce children to roleplaying. Task resolution involves nothing more complex than flipping coins.
I didn't know Wyeth worked on Prince Valiant. ;)
